I love these shoes. Comfortable to wear for long days at work. However, within a month of purchasing these, the rubber on the heel tip wore down to where you can see metal insert. I took them to the shoe cobbler to get the heel tip replaced, but it was a bit of an inconvenience.
FitFlop WalkStar Silver Review
I had heard about these last year and when I went to purchase it, they were sold out. So…. in February they came out again and I purchased the silver. I figured it would go best with everything and seem the least obvious. While I wouldn’t consider them a fashion statement, I can’t say enought about the comfort. I have been wearing them for the last two days. I am in need of a hip replacement and have lower back degeneration so when it comes to walking, my back is killing me after a few minutes. I wore these to walk the dogs in and I felt terrific. I continued wearing them all day and didn’t take them off until the evening. I felt some tightness in my calfs already so I know that something is working as far as the "fit" goes. I will continue to wear them for regular walking because of the comfort. If the "fit" actually does work, I would imagine it would be at least a few weeks before something happens. I’ll have to leave an update for that aspect. So far, the best investment for someone with chronic back pain from walking.
Nine West Women’s Reedy Slingback Sandal Review
I get a multitude of compliments when I wear these shoes and they are a nice addition to my wardrobe. They get a bit uncomfortable as the day goes on, the straps that go around the foot cut into my feet but it is not unbearable. I am on my feet for over 8 hours a day and most shoes wear into the "uncomfortable" zone at some point. As I wear the shoes the discomfort is less noticeable.
Nine West Women’s Accolia Slingback Sandal Review
First, let me say that I LOVE Nine West shoes. It’s practically all I own. So when I bought these, I was very excited to wear them out on the town…..unfortunately, I didn’t even make it out of the house. Because they are SO adorable, I tried everything to get them to stay on my feet: rubber straps, tape, etc. Nothing worked. Bottom line- these shoes are not wearable.
Rainbow Men’s Double Layer Sandals Review
i love these sandals and the price on amazon is amazing. i have owned 5 pairs of rainbows and this was my first pair of double stacks. they are even better than the regular rainbows now i have 3 pair. if you wear sandals on a daily basis as i do you will appreciate the extra cushion of the double stack. WARNING: the sandals have a break in which they are kinda of uncomfertable and very snug, this insures a great fit after the break in.
FitFlop WalkStar Black Shoes Review
Since I needed to buy a sandal ANYWAY, I thought I’d try this one…Dispite the fact I could just go to the beach to get the same exercise!(see the other review about just walking rather than buying the sandal). This is a cute sandal, has a nice heel height, comfortable to walk in. I have a high arch and a narrow foot, and I had to really wiggle to get my arch into it, but once I did it was very comfortable. Probably if you have a wider chubby foot, it may not work for you–the top strap has NO stretch to it. Overall I LOVE this sandal!!
Havaianas Women’s Top Flip Flop Review
I haven’t actually worn these shoes, yet, as it is still winter, but I did try them on and they are a pefect fit. I took the advice of other reviewers and actually went down 2 sizes! I normally wear an 8-8 1/2. These are a USA 6, BRA 37/38, EUR 39/40. They seem comfortable and fit like a glove! I did see these in Von Maur recently, a local upscale department store, so if you are worried about ordering online for fear of having to pay to send them back due to sizing, call your larger depatment stores and see if they carry them. These are very casual, but Haviana does make some that are shimmery and some that have thinner straps if you are looking for something to wear with a dressier/casual outfit.
crocs Endeavor Clog Shoes Review
Finally - Crocs that are suitable for winter weather in rainy Seattle! I love my Crocs - between my partner & I, we own 6 pair. But I usually have to forgo wearing my Crocs on those wet Seattle winter days. I have squelched through too many days with soggy feet, and in the winter, wearing Crocs with no socks is not an option. Enter the Aspen model - no holes! Now I can wear my Crocs year ’round. My feet are happy (and dry) - and I’m happy!
