Shoes Band Review Shoes from Major Band

My kids love these shoes - they are easy to take off and put on, they are comfortable and they are durable. Another great plus is that you can spray them off with the hose and they look good as new!

The sandles were perfect for my 9year old,she won t be able to wear them out soon.

I love shoes, especially sandals and have purchased my fair share over the years. I have almost flat feet and they are very tender so it is difficult to find shoes I can wear the first time out without getting blusters. I bought the traditional Teva sandals years ago and loved them, but these Elixer 5 sandals are terrific…..the best ever!! I am partial to thong type sandals so these were just what I was looking for. I have a pair in every color offered. They are great walking sandal as well, with support like a running shoe.

Being Scot, I am cheap so for the price for "flip-flops" seemed rather high. However, when I am the river, stomping around in sand, they are a must. Theses just looked so comfortable - and boy they are. Soft, marshmallow soft, yet with resistance to where Goldilocks would say "just right". Well made, however they run small. I ordered a full size larger and I am glad I did.

When I first bought the Teva Dozer Sandal for our kid, I have not ever heard from that brand before. But I can say that our son loved them, they were comfy and durable, they also looks very sporty. Now I am buying a pair again of Teva Dozer Sandal, with a different color. It’s because I know they are awesome. 

This is my second pair of this style of Teva sandals. When you first put them on they will rub by your little toe, but if you put a small spot bandage there after the third wearing they are fine. The overall comfort surpasses this small inconvenience. I wore them for a day of walking at SeaWorld and the Grand Canyon. They are the best!

I order Teva because it had lots of good reviews. I like the color and the materials. The sole is very strong and had good arch support. I just ware them around the house for now (trying to break them in) because the straps are rubbing my little toes and a few spots where my big toes’ bone are. I put some mole skin on the spots and it seem to ease the pain a little. I am still trying to make them work, maybe by next summer I can ware them out.

 

I had read others’ reviews that recommended ordering the next size up and did so. Unless you like tripping over an overly long toe area (or really need the extra room to protect your toes because you’re an avid rough-terrain hiker), I’d advise against that. I’m usually a 8.5 or 8 (narrow), but got a 9 — MUCH too big and clumsy for me. An 8 would have been plenty roomy.

It would have been helpful to know how the new Teva sandals compare to older versions. My new "hurricane 3’s" are very comfortable and will serve me well, no doubt, but it would have been helpful to know before buying that they were lighter weight than the old Teva’s I had to replace (after several years of hard wear). Making that comparison was not easy on the web. It would be good if web ads for new Teva sandals (and other footwear products) provided comparisons to older product versions that customers have come to like.

I wanted to get a good pair of sandals for a while now. I was looking for something which has a trendy looks and also convinient for an everyday usage. This was an exact match to what i was looking for. It is very convinient and the colors are amazing. Definitely grabs attention. Very soft on the insole.It even has vents on the insloe for air movement.

The only reason i gave a 4 star is the pricing. It could have been $20 less considering the fact that even the top of the line shoes (like Nike or New balance) cost a little less than what you pay for this sandal.
